How we handle your data

Ty LuWa is the private holiday home of Luuk and Wanda. The website, the requests and the visitor statistics are run and safeguarded by DoGoDa (Björn Kats, www.dogoda.nl) as processor on behalf of Luuk and Wanda. This page says what we keep, why, for how long and what your rights are.

What we keep when you send a request

Your name, e-mail address, preferred arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children, your message, the language and the domain you used. We need this to answer your request and arrange the stay.

Your request goes by e-mail to Luuk and Wanda and you receive a confirmation of receipt. Requests are kept in a secured planning that only Luuk, Wanda and DoGoDa can see.

We keep a request for up to two years after the last contact, then it is deleted.

Visitor statistics without cookies

The server itself keeps track of which pages are requested, without a cookie and without a script in your browser. Per page view we store the time, the page, the referring website, the device type and your browser language. Your IP address and browser name are not stored: they are turned into a code that changes every day, so visits on the same day belong together but nobody can be followed across days.

DoGoDa keeps these statistics centrally, together with those of the other websites DoGoDa runs. They cannot be traced back to a person, so no consent is required. After thirteen months only totals remain.

Cookies

The site sets no statistics cookies of its own. The Microsoft Azure hosting places one technical cookie (ARRAffinity) that ties your visit to one server; it holds no personal data and disappears when you close the browser.

If we use Google Analytics, we first ask your consent with a notice at the bottom of the page. Without your yes, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice here at any time:

Your rights

You can always ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted. E-mail bjorn@dogoda.nl; DoGoDa handles this on behalf of Luuk and Wanda. If you feel we do not handle your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Hosting and security

The website runs on Microsoft Azure and all connections are encrypted. Data is not sold and not used for advertising.
